To engage actively with the university's own retired community.

1. ERRC (Emeriti and Retirees Relations Center)
a.The UCLA Emeriti/Retirees Relations Center (ERRC) serves the retired faculty and staff communities through advocacy, education and personalized services pre- and post- retirement, create strategic partnerships between the university to enrich the quality of life in retirement at UCLA. The ERRC has been an advocate and supporter of UCLA retirees since 1969. In partnership with the UCLA Emeriti & the UCLA Retirees Association, the ERRC offers a variety of programs and services to support retiree involvement in campus & community initiatives. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive approach to retirement by connecting Bruins to resources that focus on wellness, economic sustainability, relationship building, personal growth & civic engagement. The ERRC is a leader in the aging sector and promotes actionable change within the UCLA Age-Friendly Initiative Today, the ERRC reports to the Vice Chancellor of Academic Personnel and serves over 18,500 retired faculty & staff.

2. UCLARA (UCLA Retirees Association)
a. UCLARA is an active and vibrant community that provides opportunities to stay engaged with colleagues and with the campus. UCLARA monitors issues that might affect retirees, represents retiree interests to University administrators, and advocates for retiree benefits. Membership dues support our advocacy efforts and member activities. All UCLA retirees and active employees, as well as their spouses/partners, are welcome to join.

3. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)
a. OLLI at UCLA provides a unique opportunity for individuals age 50+ to engage in low-cost, non-credit UCLA programs amongst a world-wide community of lifelong learners. OLLI members get access to formal lecture courses, discussion groups, creativity and movement courses, 1-day seminars, and leadership & intergenerational volunteer opportunities at UCLA. We also offer free non-academic events—such as museum tours, film screenings, speaker series, and more—exclusively for our OLLI at UCLA members. Our engaging instructors come from distinguished UCLA faculty, insiders from the arts and entertainment industries, and other experts in a variety of professional fields. Courses and events are offered in a mix of formats: in-person, remote, and hybrid.
